Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  2. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  3. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if your address is outside the United States, the jurisdiction of the federal court where SODL.com is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
  5. Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action seeking an injunction against the allegedly infringing material within ten business days, we will restore the material to our site.
